Satellite TV Channel “With You Lebanon” Launched by Dubai Media Group

Al Aqariya Group – a publisher and television operator for the Arab real estate market – took to the satellite airwaves with a new channel aimed at raising awareness – and funds – for Lebanon’s reconstruction.

“We launched this channel because we are convinced of the central role the media can play in humanitarian efforts aimed at supporting the Lebanese people in every way possible,” said Al Aqariya General Director Dr. Mohammed Saleh to AFP. “All media arms of Al Auariya, including Al Aqariya TV 1 and 2, Al Aqariya magazine and our website, are now supporting the ‘With You Lebanon’ campaign.”

The channel is called “With You Lebanon” after a fund raising campaign with the same name. Airtime will be provided free to groups raising funds for humanitarian efforts.
